“We are so thankful to have discovered Grass Kennels when the timing was right to welcome another dog into our family!  Our older dog Digby is a gentle, smart, athletic standard poodle mix, and we wanted to find a dog with similar qualities. 
Coincidentally, Digby was named after a small town in Nova Scotia, so when we saw a cream colored golden doodle pup named Chester (also a small town in Nova Scotia), I reached out to Grass Kennels to see what they were all about.  It was obvious that the pups were born into a loving environment to get their start in this world.   Sire Ozzy had a playful step in his stride, and beautiful poodle curls.  Lola, the mom of the litter, impressed us with her friendly, gentle nature, and we could only hope Chester would grow to have a similar temperament.
Chester is now a year old and has brought so much love and laughter into our home. He learns quickly, is very playful, and LOVES people of all ages. We've had playdates with Daisy from the same litter, and with other Grass Kennel doodles that friends have more recently welcomed into their families.  You can't help but smile and laugh watching these dogs play together!
Chester is excited be part of all the outdoor activities we enjoy, whether it's mountain biking, hiking, camping, trail running, xc skiing, or snowshoeing. Our goldendoodle has grown into a fantastic trail dog that comes on all our adventures, makes everyone smile, and is content to curl up with you.  Looking forward to adding another Grass Kennels pup to our family in the future.”
